Why oil is priced separately
Because not every engine takes the same oil, or the same amount. A four-cylinder takes 4.5 litres, a V8 can take 7. Charging one identical "all-in" price makes the small engine subsidize the big one. You pay for what your vehicle actually uses.
Synthetic or blend
Synthetic holds its properties better in the cold — a real advantage in Montreal in January — and stretches the interval between changes. Blend costs less per litre and suits an older engine with low annual mileage. Your owner's manual often mandates the grade: we follow it.
